Spearie Award Nominations 2013

Here are the nominations for the 4th Annual Spearie awards. These nominations are chosen by me from the 39 films released in 2013 which I have seen. In the end, this is all one man's opinion, and I welcome any and all discussion or argument about my choices. After all, what is the purpose of film if we can't talk about it.

*There may be some major films missing simply due to the fact that I have not yet seen them.
**There may be some cases of "category fraud" in the acting categories. A simple answer is that if I can find a way to justify it I would rather nominate a strong performance in an arguable category placement than a weak performance in the right category.
